7.2 UNCA Foundation, 1967-2001
In 1965, the Asheville-Biltmore College Foundation Inc. was established, and subsequently raised money for the college, primarily to support the library and student scholarships. Following the formation of UNCA in 1969, the foundation was reorganized as the University of North Carolina at Asheville Foundation, Inc. This archive holds historically significant papers prepared, or received, by the UNCA Foundation, and some documents referring to the Asheville-Biltmore College Foundation.
7.3 NC Center for Creative Retirement, 1984-1996
This archive holds historically significant materials regarding the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement (now Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) at UNC Asheville. The materials cover the period immediately prior to the creation of the Center in 1987, through 1996.

Primarily contains historically significant materials regarding the Alumni Association of the University of North Carolina Asheville between 1969 and 1994. Some records relating to the Asheville-Biltmore College Alumni Association, which preceded the Alumni Association of UNCA are included.
